Job Title

Senior Staff Engineer Dev Experience (DevEx)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior DevEx Engineer to enhance developer productivity by building scalable tools, frameworks, and automation. This role focuses on optimizing the development lifecycle-from code to deployment-by improving build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and developer workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Developer Productivity & Tooling
  • Build and maintain tools and frameworks to improve developer efficiency
  • Enhance local development environments and workflows
• CI/CD & Automation
  • Design, implement, and optimizeCI/CD pipelines
  • Drive automation across build, test, and deployment processes
  • Enable seamless promotion across environments (dev → staging → production)
• Build Systems & Dependency Management
  • Own and optimize build systems, scripts, and dependency management
  • Improve build performance, reliability, and scalability
• Test Automation Enablement
  • Provide standardized frameworks forfunctional and integration test automation
  • Enable teams to integrate and scale automated testing
• Platform & Infrastructure Integration
  • Work withKubernetes, containerized environments, and cloud platforms
  • Support infrastructure as code (IaC) and environment consistency
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with development, platform, and security teams
  • Integrate security and quality checks into developer workflows

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in software engineering or DevOps/DevEx roles
• Strong experience with:
  • CI/CD tools(e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
  • Build systems(e.g., Maven, Gradle, Bazel, etc.)
  • Kubernetes and containerization (Docker)
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Go)
• Experience withautomation, scripting, and infrastructure as code
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
