Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and architectKubernetes-based infrastructurefor scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Lead the migration of legacy workloads toKubernetes and containerized environments.
  • Define and implementCI/CD pipelines, GitOps practices, and deployment automation.
  • Collaborate with application, platform, and security teams to ensuresecure, compliant, and efficientdeployments.
  • DevelopHelm charts, operators, and manifests for consistent application deployment.
  • Establish and enforcegovernance, monitoring, and observabilitystandards (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry).
  • Optimize cluster performance and resource utilization across hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
  • Stay up to date with evolvingCNCF ecosystem toolsand recommend adoption strategies.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Architecture.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience withKubernetes(AKS, EKS, GKE, or OpenShift).
  • Strong expertise incontainerization technologies
  • Proven experience withinfrastructure as codetools (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, etc.).
  • Familiarity withservice mesh andAPI gatewaysolutions.
  • Experience withmonitoring, logging, and tracingtools.
  • Strong understanding ofnetworking, storage, and securityconcepts in Kubernetes.
  • Scripting and automation skills usingPython, Bash, or Go.
  • Experience withcloud platforms(AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
  • Experience architectingmulti-cluster or hybrid-cloud Kubernetessolutions.
  • Exposure toserverless, event-driven architectures, oredge computing.
