As an integral part of Our Digital Manufacturing Value Team, the Snr. Specialist with the Instrument Integration Product Team is charged with technical solution ownership of Digital capabilities in support of our Manufacturing Division s global shopfloor analytical instruments. This role is directly reporting into the Instrument integration Product Manager.
Responsibilities
Drive technical solution for integrating various shopfloor based analytical instruments
Drive alignment across a Team of Automation & IT capital Project Managers across the globe.
Oversee technical deliverables across Delivery squad teams across the globe (Technical Analysts / IT capital project managers / automation and infrastructure engineers.
Work closely with all Manufacturing Divisions Digital Value Teams as well as Foundational Services (Architecture, Engineering & Compliance) Team to facilitate the end-to-end design build and delivery of Technology Capabilities required.
Develop and own the Instrument Integration Technology Roadmap
Provides deep technical expertise and implements technical processes that enable solutions
Own global standards for design and documentation across validation lifecycle.
Ensures that industry-accepted architecture principles, standards, guidelines and concepts are integrated with those of allied domains and coordinated roll-out and adoption strategies are in place
Support operational aspects of the applications, work with application management functions to improve operational resilience.
Stays current with technology trends and introduces modern best practices to IT.
Develops a library of deployable and documented design patterns and reference architectures.
Collaborates with technology vendors.
Work in partnership with key stakeholders in Digital Manufacturing Operations (DMO) and Digital Quality and Labs.
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Biology or related fields.
7+ years of experience in laboratory system technology management and supporting IT infrastructure.
5+ years of work experience in a GxP laboratory or manufacturing environment
Experience with analytical instruments that are used on the shopfloor such as balances, pH/conductivity. spectrophotometers, or others
Experience with environment monitoring technologies such as air particle counters,
Experience with lab technology integrations applications such as LabX, Smartline Data Cockpit, or others
Experience configuring scientific methods and collaborating with lab personnel to identify requirements.
