You will be joining the Professional Services Consulting (PSC) job family under the workgroup of Support Services for the Post live customer deployments of UKGR product and work with UKG customers in multiple geographies.
The PSC projects scope has multiple roles including Solution Consultants, Integration consultants, Business Analysts and Quality analysts interacting with onsite teams and customers on a regular basis.
We hire people having knowledge in Human Capital Management domain for projects like ADP, Oracle HCM, PeopleSoft, Ramco, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Solution Consultant (P3) within our UKG Ready Configuration team, you will take ownership of the following customer facing responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Configuration
- Engage with project teams and customer stakeholders to gather requirements across HR, Payroll, TLM, Accruals 2.0, Scheduler, Benefits, and Reporting.
- Facilitate solution design workshops and produce detailed configuration blueprints.
- Configure and re configure UKG Ready modules using established product standards and implementation methodology.
- Conduct peer reviews of complex setups and provide guidance to junior consultants.
- Stay current on new Ready features and capabilities; embed best practices and recommend optimizations to reduce technical debt.
Project Delivery & Governance
- Own full delivery of assigned workstreams (analysis build test parallel go live hyper care).
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Integrations, and Payroll Services to ensure aligned execution.
- Collaborate closely with UKG Payroll Services (UKGPS) Onboarding teams to synchronize EIN builds, calendars, and handoffs in accordance with the UKGPS Implementation Guide.
- Manage customer communications, track issues/risks, drive timely resolutions, and uphold SOW scope, quality, and satisfaction.
Knowledge Transfer & Enablement
- Deliver configuration walkthroughs, admin training, and customer runbooks.
- Contribute reusable templates, job aids, and internal playbooks to strengthen delivery maturity.
Representative Project Scenarios
Entity & Organization Setup
- New company/EIN creation (US & international), entity reactivation, multi EIN builds, and template cloning.
- Tax & payroll calendar alignment, primary EIN switches, M&A transitions, and historical employee data loads.
- Position Management implementations to support headcount planning, budgeting, and organizational restructuring.
Payroll Accounting & Financials
- General Ledger (GL) design and rebuildsincluding conversions for Yardi, Sage, and Acumatica.
- Labor Distribution reconfiguration, dimensions/override rules, and customized GL exports/reports.
Time, Pay Rules & Scheduling
- Complex pay rule configuration: premiums, FLSA/FLSA lookback, 8/80 rules, award/EBA setups, on call rules, weighted OT, paid breaks, etc.
- Scheduler implementations and pattern redesigns (e.g., 9 day/7 day fortnights).
Accruals & Leave Compliance
- Accruals 2.0 upgrades, policy conversions (day hour), negative balance controls, and multistate/country compliance (e.g., Nebraska Paid Sick Leave).
- TOIL rules, retro recalculations, and PTO/Sick consolidation.
Benefits & Open Enrolments
- Building OE plans (medical, dental, vision, retirement, HDHP/HSA).
- Harmonizing employee profiles, managing test cycles, and providing go live support.
- Benefits EDI configuration and carrier mapping.
Attestation, Compliance & Audits
- Break/meal attestation workflows via clock/web.
- Cross module audits and optimization engagements for HR, Payroll, TLM, and Scheduler.
- Remediation of legacy build issues and dependency resolution.
Qualifications
Individuals looking to be a part of our talented team should possess the following:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT/Computer Science or related field
- 6 Plus years of industry experience with exposure to global implementations
- Experience in implementing HCM or WFM software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and changing environments
- Excellent analytical, communication and consulting skills
