About the Role
As a Senior Java Engineer, you'll contribute to building a custom workflow engine integrated with the core platform. You'll be expected to write clean, efficient code, collaborate across teams, and influence architectural decisions-all while being hands-on and proactive in your development approach.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Java 8, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and REST API design
- Experience with MySQL and at least one NoSQL DB like MongoDB or Neo4j
- Familiarity with Spring Security, OAuth2, and build tools like Maven/Gradle
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS)
- Exposure to frontend technologies like React.js or Angular
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Linux scripting
- Understanding of messaging systems like RabbitMQ, Kafka, or ActiveMQ
- Experience with SSO and enterprise authentication (e.g., Okta)
What You'll Do
- Design and develop high-performance web applications using Java 8, Spring Boot, and Hibernate
- Build scalable RESTful microservices with secure integrations (OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect)
- Collaborate with product and frontend teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Maintain documentation, perform code reviews, and write unit tests
- Solve complex problems and contribute to system architecture and performance improvements
