Sr. Software Engineer

We are looking for a candidate with strong hands-on experience in SAP HANA administration and a willingness to work in a support environment. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of SAP HANA architecture, administration, and troubleshooting, and be able to ensure system stability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand SAP HANA Architecture and its key components.
• Manage SAP HANA scenarios with administration considerations.
• Perform installation, updates, upgrades, support packs, and other Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) activities.
• Work with different HANA installation options and understand scale-out systems and high availability setups.
• Manage the persistence layer, column store concepts, session and transaction management.
• Utilize administration tools for monitoring, diagnostics, and root cause analysis including error messages, diagnostic files, server-side traces, and client-side traces.
• Perform complete backups, recovery, system refresh, and troubleshooting activities.
• Manage HANA security and user management, ensuring proper roles and authorizations.
• Understand and manage spatial data, text analysis, and graph data.
• Monitor memory management and optimize HANA performance.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve a variety of technical issues and ensure incidents are addressed in a timely manner.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP HANA Basis administration.
• Detailed knowledge of installations, upgrades, support packs, and lifecycle management.
• Good understanding of high availability, scale-out systems, and persistence layers.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and handle production support efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in a support environment with full office attendance.
