We're hiring an SDE III for the India development center of a fast-growing US-based enterprise software company in Bangalore.
The company builds real-time data connectivity and integration products that help enterprises unify and access fragmented data across hundreds of cloud, SaaS, and on-premises systems. Their solutions power digital transformation initiatives globally.
We are looking for a Software Development Engineer III (SDE-III) to join the Bangalore team.
Role Details
- Title: Software Development Engineer III
- Location: Bangalore, India (Hybrid On-site)
- Work Week: 5 days (MonFri)
- Compensation: 2535 LPA
What You'll Do
As an SDE-III, you'll work on Java-based web applications (on-prem and SaaS) and help design, develop, and maintain mission-critical features. Responsibilities include:
- Analyzing business requirements and providing accurate estimates.
- Designing and developing backend systems with Core Java and relational databases.
- Developing rich UI features using React.js (expertise strongly desired).
- Building frameworks, critical components, and leading proof-of-concepts.
- Performing integration testing, performance engineering, and code reviews.
- Creating design artifacts (HLD/LLD, technical specifications).
- Collaborating with product managers, QA, and cross-functional stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum setup.
- Mentoring team members and staying ahead on industry trends.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years hands-on development experience in Java-based applications and React.js (at least 1.5+ years in recent projects).
- Strong knowledge of databases, design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
- Experience with performance, security, and throughput optimization for web apps.
- Familiarity with RDBMS/SQL and cloud technologies (Azure preferred).
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, GIT/SVN, Jira.
- Self-starter with excellent problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related STEM field.
- Experience in the Data Integration / BI domain is a plus.
