Acentra Health seeks a
Full Stack Developer to join our growing team. This role will serve as a key contributor within our AI & Automation Center of Excellence, building modern, scalable applications that power AI-driven workflows, automation solutions, and intelligent user experiences. This role blends traditional full stack engineering with emerging AI capabilities, requiring the ability to design, develop, and deploy end-to-end solutions that integrate AI services, APIs, and data pipelines into impactful healthcare applications.
This individual will be responsible for translating clean, modern UI/UX designs into highly functional, performant front-end applications, while also developing robust backend services in Python and other modern programming languages and frameworks. The ideal candidate embraces AI-assisted development practices, leveraging coding copilots and automation tools to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, and continuously innovate.
Job Summary And Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy full stack applications that enable AI-powered workflows, automation services, and intelligent user interactions.
- Translate modern UI/UX designs into responsive, high-quality front-end experiences using frameworks such as React, Angular, and other modern programming languages.
- Build and maintain backend services and APIs using Python and modern frameworks to support scalable, secure, and performant applications.
- Integrate AI/ML services, APIs, and data pipelines into applications to deliver automation and decision-support capabilities.
- Leverage AI coding tools (e.g., copilots, code generation assistants) to enhance development productivity, code quality, and delivery speed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including AI engineers, product managers, designers, and clinical/operational stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.
- Ensure adherence to software engineering best practices, including security, compliance (e.g., HIPAA), testing, and performance optimization.
- Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to known best practices to ensure application performance and uptime.
Job Requirements And Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of full stack development experience building modern web applications across front-end and back-end technologies.
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or other JavaScript-based technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to translate UI/UX designs into polished, performant, and user-centric interfaces.
- Strong proficiency in Python and other frameworks such as Express.js, Django, or ASP.NET Core for backend development and API design.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs, microservices architectures, and cloud platforms (AWS, MS Azure).
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Codex, Cursor or similar) to accelerate coding workflows.
- Strong understanding of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), version control (Bitbucket, GitHub), and modern development practices (CI/CD, containerization).
- Knowledge of unit/integration testing and strong debugging and optimization skills.
Additional Qualifications
- Experience developing AI-enabled or automation-driven applications, including integration with LLMs or ML services.
- Experience in healthcare, healthcare administration, or regulated environments (e.g., HIPAA-compliant systems).
- Familiarity with designing or contributing to enterprise-scale platforms
