Job Summary
We are looking for a Sr. Shopify Developer who can build, customize, and optimize Shopify stores for performance, user experience, and scalability. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Shopify theme development, custom sections, app integrations, speed optimization, and store maintenance.
You should be someone who understands both development and e-commerce thinking — not just how to build a website, but how to improve conversion, speed, and user journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify stores based on business requirements
- Build and modify Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Create custom sections, templates, landing pages, and reusable components
- Integrate and configure third-party Shopify apps and tools
- Optimize website speed, mobile responsiveness, and overall performance
- Work closely with designers, performance marketers, and account managers to execute website updates
- Troubleshoot bugs, UI issues, and functionality problems
- Improve user experience across product page, cart, collection page, and checkout journey
- Implement conversion-focused features and enhancements
- Ensure clean code structure and proper testing before deployment
- Handle website maintenance, updates, and ongoing improvements
- Coordinate with internal teams to deliver projects on time
Required Skills
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Shopify development
- Strong command of Shopify Liquid
- Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
- Experience in custom theme development and theme customization
- Understanding of Shopify apps, API integrations, and third-party tools
- Knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first development
- Experience in website speed optimization and performance improvements
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of e-commerce UX and conversion-focused design implementation
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
