Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for functional, performance, and regression testing for large cloud data warehouse. Must understand dimensional data modeling, RDBMS and NoSQL platforms. Collaborate with developers and product owners to understand software requirements and identify test cases for automation for big data solutions.

Must understand the full life cycle of data warehouse and big data solutions. Build automated test suites, analyze test results, and report defects accordingly.

Participate in development code reviews and provide feedback on testability, quality, and maintainability aspects of the code.

Improve and streamline the testing process by implementing testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Perform root cause analysis of identified defects and work with the development team to resolve issues. Collaborate with scrum teams to ensure that software releases meet quality goals and are delivered on time in agile sprints.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to software testing and quality assurance.

Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

5 - 8 years work experience in the Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) role.

5 - 8 years experience test Big Data Ecosystem. Expertise in Google, AWS & Azure Cloud is desired

Knowledge of data modeling using Kimbal and Inmon methodologies

Proficiency in designing automated test scripts and frameworks.

Experience with test automation tools, such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.

Experience with software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

Analytical and problem-solving skills with and attention to detail.

Can operate independently with minimal supervision.
