We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Developer with 6-8 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad/Secunderabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ABAP programming and a proven track record of developing and maintaining SAP applications. This role involves collaborating with functional teams to deliver technical solutions that enhance business processes and improve system performance.

The Senior SAP ABAP Developer (Team Lead) is responsible for leading the technical development team across SAP S/4 HANA environments, covering both Private Cloud (PCE) and Public Cloud landscapes. This role drives the design, development, optimization, and governance of all technical objects using modern ABAP, SAP BTP extensibility, RAP, CDS, AMDP, and integration frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop complex ABAP objects:
Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements (BADIs, User exits),
BAPIs, IDocs, OData services, CDS views,
Smart Forms / Adobe Forms,
Workflow enhancements.
Review and optimize code following SAP performance standards.
Support S4HANA conversions, code remediation, and simplification.
Lead technical design workshops and mentor junior developers.
Work closely with functional teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.
Lead the design and development of:
RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms)
CDS Views & CDS-based analytical models
AMDP-based performance-optimized data access
OData v2/v4 services
RESTful ABAP Programming (RAP) services (Managed & Unmanaged Scenarios)
Develop custom logic using:
BADIs
Enhancement Framework
User Exits
BOPF / RAP Actions
Business Event handling
Optimize performance using:
SQLM, SWLT, SCI, ATC
Cache strategies & parallel processing
Buffering and index recommendations
Required Skills
Strong ABAP on HANA and objectoriented programming expertise.
Proficiency in CDS, AMDP, RAP (preferred), and OData.
Debugging and performance tuning proficiency.
Excellent problemsolving and documentation skills.
