About The Role
The role will be responsible for working on financial fraud mitigation, false positive and customer experience management primarily on Uber for Business, and its assorted sub-business lines. The person in this role will be tasked with looking at all aspects of this business to ensure fraud is effectively mitigated.
What The Candidate Will Do
- Strong data fluency with the ability to manipulate datasets, design test plans, and translate insights into clear strategies.
- Proven experience building, managing, and scaling complex processes in fast-moving environments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with comfort presenting data-driven insights to senior, sophisticated audiences.
- Exceptional collaboration and stakeholder-management capabilities, building deep trust across cross-functional teams.
- Highly self-motivated, organized, and resilient, with a high-energy, optimistic working style and strong independent ownership.
What The Candidate Will Need
- 5+ years of experience in Fraud, Risk, or Marketplace Operations with deep operational and domain understanding.
- Strong data analysis capability with advanced SQL proficiency and excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills.
- Data-driven problem solver with the ability to translate complex datasets into clear strategies and actionable recommendations.
- Proven strength in stakeholder management and navigating complex cross-functional matrices with effective change-management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently, make sound judgments, and influence decisions through data.
