Key Responsibilities
- Participate in requirement analysis and review user stories to understand project requirements.
- Develop test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on project specifications.
- Execute test cases manually and/or using automated testing tools.
- Identify, record, and track bugs and defects using bug tracking systems.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that previously identified defects have been resolved.
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues found during testing.
- Document test results and create test reports for project stakeholders.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of testing environments.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies related to software testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow test plans and procedures.
- Good understanding of software testing methodologies and techniques.
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, or similar.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Prior experience in software testing or quality assurance is a plus but not required.
