Responsibilities
- Lead manual testing cycles (functional, regression, sanity, UI/UX).
- Write and execute structured test plans and cases.
- Log, track, and follow up on defects, cases and bugs.
- Use AI tools to speed repetitive testing.
- Coordinate with the product/operations team for release sign-off.
- Provide concise QA status and risk reports.
A Typical Day In This Role
- Review new tasks/tickets and assess test requirements.
- Create or refine test cases based on updated specs.
- Run manual test scenarios across web + mobile.
- Identify issues and immediately push them through the pipeline.
- Use AI tools to re-run repetitive steps faster.
- Maintain clarity on what's ready, blocked, or needs escalation.
- Keep stakeholders informed about build health and release readiness.
- Mentor team members and ensure consistent QA discipline.
Requirements
- 5+ years QA experience (2+ in leadership).
- Strong manual testing background in SaaS/consumer platforms.
- Hands-on experience with AI-enabled QA tools (no scripting required).
- Clear communication, attention to detail, and ability to guide others.
- Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
