Job summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in Python-based test automation and modern QA practices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automation frameworks, API testing, CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, and distributed systems. Experience in the InsureTech domain will be an added advantage.
The role involves collaborating with developers, DevOps teams, and product stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery through scalable and efficient testing solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks using Python.
- Build and execute automated test suites for web applications, APIs, and microservices.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Validate APIs using Postman, REST Assured, Python requests, or similar tools.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.
- Conduct database and backend validation including SQL and Data Lake testing.
- Work closely with development and DevOps teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
- Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot defects efficiently.
- Participate in sprint planning, requirement analysis, and release validation.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to QA best practices.
- Explore and implement AI-powered testing tools and intelligent test generation platforms.
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python for automation testing.
- Hands-on experience with frameworks such as pytest, unittest, Selenium, or similar.
- Experience with API testing tools: Postman, REST Assured, Python requests.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.
- Good working knowledge of Git and version control workflows.
- Strong SQL skills and database testing experience.
- Understanding of Data Lake architectures and backend data validation.
- Experience with Docker and containerized environments.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Exposure to AI-powered testing tools or automated test generation platforms.
