Role Overview

Senior individual contributor driving test-automation design and execution for video-streaming features on Smart TV/Soundbar products.

Required Skills

Selenium/Appium/
Proficient in Java
Rest API
BDD cucumber
Strong coding skills
Hands on in API Testing and Automation using Postman & Rest Assured Java.
Experience in Web and Mobile Automation using Selenium Web driver.
Experience in TV UI automation (preferred).
Proficient configuration management tools such as GIT, Git Hub, and Git Bash.
Experience in Automation frameworks like BDD Cucumber, Page object model & Data driven.
Experience on programming languages like Java and unit testing frameworks like TestNG
Good exposure to development and build tools like Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA and Maven
Experience in setting up the CI/CD Process using Jenkins.
Experience with Bug & Test Management Tools such as JIRA, Test Rails.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities:

Collaborating with QA analysts and developers to identify test scenarios and design appropriate automated test scripts and frameworks.
Executing automated test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and stability.
Automating the execution of regression tests to ensure that new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionalities.
Automating tests that validate the interaction between different components or modules of a software application.
Integrating automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enable early detection of defects and ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
Identifying and reporting defects through clear bug reports and collaborating with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
Designing and implementing automated performance and load tests to assess the application's behavior under various conditions.
