JobDescription

We areseeking a seasoned Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead the design andimplementation of our automated testing strategies. You will be responsible forbuilding scalable test frameworks from scratch, offshore QAengineers, and ensuring that quality is'shifted left in our development lifecycle.

Framework Architecture:Design, develop, and maintain robust,scalable, and maintainable automation frameworks for web, mobile, and APIlayers (e.g., using Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress).

Strategy & Planning:Define the automation roadmap, choosingthe right tools and technologies to meet product goals while balancing risk andspeed.

CI/CD Integration:Integrate automated test suites intoDevOps pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) to provide immediatefeedback to developers.

Test Data Management:Create and manage complex test data setsand environment configurations to ensure consistent and reproducible testresults.

Mentorship & Leadership:Conduct code reviews for QA scripts,provide technical guidance to junior team members, and advocate for bestpractices across the engineering org.

Advanced Troubleshooting:Perform root cause analysis for complexsystem failures, identifying whether issues reside in the application code, thetest script, or the infrastructure.

Non-Functional Testing:Lead efforts in performance, load, andsecurity testing to ensure application resilience.

Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer ScienceEngineering or equivalent technical field

Experience:8 years in Software Quality Engineeringwith at least 4 years focused heavily on automation.

Programming:High proficiency in at least one majorlanguage:Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#.

Automation Tools:Mastery of modern frameworks likePlaywright,Cypress, or Selenium WebDriver.

API Testing:Deep experience testing RESTful orGraphQL APIs using tools likePostman, Rest-Assured, or Karate.

Databases:Strong SQL skills for data validationand backend state verification.

DevOps:Solid understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, andCI/CD principles.

Agile Mindset:Deep experience working in Scrum/Kanbanenvironments and participating in grooming sessions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience withCloud Infrastructure(AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Knowledge ofBehavior DrivenDevelopment (BDD)using Cucumber or SpecFlow.

Familiarity withAI-driven testingtools(e.g., Applitools, Testim) to handle visual regression orself-healing scripts.

ISTQB Advanced Level Test AutomationEngineer certification.
