VenPep Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee the delivery of complex technology projects from initiation to closure. You will work closely with clients, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to ensure timely, budget-compliant, and high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders
- Create detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and QA engineers
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies proactively
- Manage client communications, expectations, and escalation points
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives in Agile environments
- Track and report project KPIs, milestones, and budget consumption to leadership
- Coordinate with DevOps and technical leads for deployment and release management
- Manage vendor and third-party stakeholder relationships as needed
- Maintain project documentation using tools like Jira, Confluence, or equivalent
Requirements
- 5 to 6 years of experience in project management, preferably in IT/software domain
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred
- Proven track record of delivering mid-to-large-scale software projects
- Solid understanding of Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies
- Strong proficiency in project management tools: Jira, MS Project, Asana, or Trello
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills
- Experience in risk management, change management, and scope control
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with cloud-based project environments (AWS, Azure)
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and API-driven development
- Exposure to client-facing projects in global delivery models
