Your role

Roles & Responsibilities

You will be part of the Turnkey Projects & Services (TPS) team, responsible for Proposal and Project Execution activities.Proposal

Act as the first point of contact for Customer Centers, Product Companies, and customers for RFQs and new project requests.

Evaluate RFQ requirements and specifications, translating customer needs into our product portfolio.

Assess project feasibility with the team and determine internal handling.

Provide technically accurate and commercially valid quotations using company processes.

Understand compressed air system applications perform pre-calculation, selection, and sizing of equipment.Collaborate with Sales, Customer Centers, and Product Companies for equipment selection and propose complex system designs.

Prepare costing sheets for complete packages including compressors, dryers, ER units, heat pumps, and auxiliaries (pressure vessels, valves, piping, cables, instruments, MCC, PLC, etc.).

Project Management

Act as the main coordination link between end customer, consultant, licensor, factory, supplier, and Customer Centers single point of contact for the customer.Drive projects to ensure timely deliverables and successful completion.

Manage orders to achieve client satisfaction in delivery and technical requirements.

Monitor project progress against schedules and milestones report to management and provide early warnings of delays.

Maintain detailed project files and records in common servers and project management systems.

Prepare project documents per VDRL follow up for timely documentation completion.

Coordinate with suppliers and factories for manufacturing status provide monthly progress reports.

Review and process variations and claims evaluate sub-vendor offers and select vendors for auxiliaries.

Travel to customer or vendor sites as required lead and organize project work during all phases.

Manage budgets, procurement, and schedules propose remedial actions when needed.

Coordinate inspections with factory, supplier, customer, and third-party agencies.Participate in FAT and SAT ensure compliance and obtain inspection release notes.

Conduct site visits to verify installation against technical documents.Share detailed information with aftermarket teams for safe start-up and commissioning.

To succeed, you will need

Experience & Educational requirements

BE / B Tech in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering / Instrumentation engineering with 8 -12 years of experience in Proposal and Project execution in a EPC- Project Based engineering or product organisation .preferably in Compressor ,Pump , Rotating Machinery or Project based Industry .

Knowledge

• Sound knowledge and experience on, Screw & centrifugal compressors. Air dryers ,Pump ,Heat exchanger ,Industrial Chillers ,Skid ,Containerised Packages
• Knowledge of Auxiliaries (Pressure vessels ,Valves ,Interconnecting Piping ,Cables ,Instruments ,LT&HT MCC ,PLC, etc)
• Good Command (Verbal & Written) of English is must.
• Able to read & understand P&ID, GA, Layouts, Installation, System architect etc
• Strong Technical & commercial knowledge of Engineered rotatory equipment
• Able to work under pressure & plan & organize effectively with the right sense of urgency
• Able to work on multiple projects by giving due importance to each project
• Working knowledge of ASME/API/TEMA/IEC/IS/DIN/ ATEX/CCOE and other international Codes

• Knowledge to Prepare SLD, Control Philosophy, E-Plan Drawings, Service Diagrams, IO List, Instrument List, Hookup drawings, System Architecture inline to Turnkey compressed air systems scope related to Electrical Instrumentation & control.

• Working knowledge of PED Dossier, documentation s.
• Strong interpersonal communication
• Knowledge of pressure vessels and heat exchanger is an added advantage
• Knowledge of Energy recovery products , Vacuum pump is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of MS Projects is desired
• Foreign Language (French ,German ,Mandarin ) and PMP Certification is an added advantage
