Key Responsibilities:
ADAS Sensor Integration
- Hands-on expertise in mechanical design engineering with knowledge of manufacturing and assembly requirements.
- Strong experience in automotive product development, particularly plastics and sheet-metal components.
- Conduct design reviews using DFMEA and DRBFM to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Exposure to structural simulations and dynamic load evaluation.
- Proficient in tolerance stack-up processes.
- End-to-end ADAS sensor integration and vehicle building experience.
- Experience with Wiring Harness, NX, Smaragd, CAD, Schematics, Brackets design, 3D routing, Wiring Harness Simulation, Product Data Management (PDM), PLM, change management processes, and BOM management.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for ADAS feature performance issues (false detections, missed detections, driver intervention events).
Sound & AVAS System
- Strong exposure to automotive sound system design and development, including mechanical and EE integration, testing, and rollout.
- Adaptation and localization for different markets and vehicle configurations.
Quality Management & Functional Safety
- Conduct hazard and risk analysis (HARA), FMEA, FTA, and FMEDA.
- Define and document functional and technical safety requirements.
- Implement and monitor functional safety processes based on ISO 26262 and ASPICE standards.
- Prepare safety documentation and maintain evidence of compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in R&D, hardware, software, and systems engineering.
- Mentor team members on functional safety principles.
Software Update Management (SUMS)
- Effect chain management, mapping, and quality control.
- Understanding and handling of Software Update Management Systems.
Project & Program Management
- Lead the complete product lifecycle of multiple vehicle projects (minimum 45 projects).
- Manage requirements engineering, system analysis, sensor integration, and configuration management.
- Utilize tools such as PVCS, SVN, Git, DOORS, PLM, and change management systems.
