Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the steel furniture production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
- Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and delivery schedules.
- Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to ensure product feasibility and manufacturability.
- Monitor and optimize production processes to minimize waste and reduce operational costs.
- Manage and supervise production staff, providing training and ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure all products meet company standards and customer requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production-related issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate production reports and analyze data for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the production area.
Qualifications And Skills
- Bachelor's or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in steel furniture manufacturing is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, material handling, and production planning.
- Proficiency in using production management software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is an added advantage.
