We're hiring a Senior Product Manager for Alteryx's Data & Connectivity team to own platform capabilities that let customers connect to any data, anywhere. You will define strategy and roadmaps for connectors, ingestion, metadata, push-down processing, and APIs, and work closely with engineering, design and GTM teams to deliver scalable, secure, cloud-native connectivity that accelerates enterprise analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Own product strategy and roadmap for one or more Data & Connectivity capabilities
- Lead discovery: run customer research, validate hypotheses, frame opportunities, and set clear success metrics and KPIs.
- Translate strategy into prioritized requirements and deliverable backlogs; partner with engineering and UX to drive timely, high-quality delivery.
- Coordinate cross-functional dependences with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and other partners to maximize adoption.
- Define and evolve connector and metadata architectures, partner integrations (CDWs, Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.), and enterprise security/compliance patterns.
- Instrument and monitor product usage and outcomes; iterate based on telemetry and customer feedback.
- Represent the product externally in customer engagements, partner conversations and internal GTM enablement.
Skills & Qualifications
- 5 - 10 years of Product Management experience in enterprise software, ideally within data integration, analytics, BI platforms, or AI/ML-driven products.
- Strong understanding of platform technologies, including connectivity frameworks, metadata management, and extensibility models.
- Proven experience building and scaling Enterprise SaaS products.
- Hands-on experience with agile product development, backlog prioritization, and outcome-driven delivery.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, making sound decisions with incomplete information.
- A strong sense of ownership, with the ability to independently drive initiatives end-to-end.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and influence skills, including the ability to align teams without formal authority.
- Clear and effective written and visual storytelling skills for both executive and technical audiences.
- Comfort engaging with stakeholders at all levels, from senior leadership to individual contributors.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites and global Alteryx offices.
Nice To Have
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Hands-on exposure to Cloud Data Warehouses and large-scale analytics systems.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.
- Familiarity with modern data analysis and data management tools.
