Job Overview
We are hiring a hands-on Electrical & Electronics Engineer to drive
high-speed and high-power validation for next-generation data centre systems. This role requires strong ownership, deep technical expertise, and the ability to work in an aggressive, fast-paced environment.
The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end testing, from bench setup and instrumentation to debug, analysis, and automation. You will work closely with design, SI/PI, and system teams to ensure robust and scalable hardware performance.
Key Responsibilities
- High-Speed Validation
- Perform validation of multi-Gbps links and PAM4-based systems
- Conduct signal integrity analysis including eye diagrams, jitter, loss, and equalization
- Use tools such as VNAs, BERTs, and high-speed oscilloscopes for characterization and debug
- High-Power Testing
- Execute testing of high-current / high-power subsystems
- Validate power delivery networks and perform stress and corner testing
- Identify and debug power integrity and thermal-related issues
- Debug & Root Cause Analysis
- Diagnose complex failures across signal integrity, power integrity, and system interactions
- Perform deep dive analysis and provide actionable insights to design teams
- Drive issue closure with clear documentation and data-backed conclusions
- Test Automation & Infrastructure
- Develop automated test solutions using NI TestStand and LabVIEW
- Select and integrate NI hardware platforms (PXI, DAQ, modular instruments)
- Build scalable and repeatable test setups for high-throughput validation
- System-Level Validation
- Validate boards, subsystems, and rack-level hardware for data centre applications
- Execute reliability, stress, and compliance-oriented testing
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure system robustness and performance
Mandatory
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering
- 10 years of hands-on experience in high-speed hardware validation / test engineering
- Strong expertise in:
- High-speed digital design and signal integrity fundamentals
- PAM4 signaling and validation
- High-power / power delivery testing
- Proven experience with:
- VNAs, BERTs, high-bandwidth oscilloscopes
- NI Test Stand and LabVIEW – good to have
- Selection and deployment of NI-based test systems
- Demonstrated ability to independently debug complex system-level issues
Nice to Have
- Experience with data center interfaces (Ethernet 100G/200G/400G/800G, PCIe Gen4/5/6, SerDes)
- Familiarity with compliance testing and industry standards
- Exposure to rack-level systems, power shelves, or accelerator platforms
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages for automation and data analysis
- Understanding of thermal validation and system-level interactions
