As a Sr Procurement Buyer at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in driving the procurement strategy and initiatives to achieve cost savings, improve supplier performance, and ensure supply chain continuity at PAN India
You will work with team of procurement professionals, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and establish strong supplier relationships
Your expertise in strategic sourcing and supply chain management will be instrumental in driving business growth and competitiveness
You will report directly to our Sourcing Manager, and youll work out of our Bangalore location
In this role, you will have a significant impact on the financial performance of the business through the delivery of cost savings, working capital improvement, and supplier quality
You will be responsible for developing and executing annual and strategic procurement plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives
You will lead sourcing transition initiatives to optimize the supply base, achieve the lowest total cost, and reduce sole/single source risk
Additionally, you will drive improvements in sourcing processes and performance through effective management operating system
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute annual and strategic procurement plans
Ensure alignment of procurement strategies with business objectives
Drive annual saving /cost avoidance
Lead sourcing transition initiatives to optimize the supply base and reduce risk
Participate in new supplier search and development
Drive supplier negotiation and contract management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies
Improve sourcing processes and performance through effective management operating systems
Participate in Internal Audits and ensure noncompliance with Indirect Procurement.
YOU MUST HAVE
7+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management
Experience in IFM /Operation related Projects with Capex /Energy Projects. You should experience of disposing the scrap activity and good knowledge of HSE .
You should have good supplier knowledge for Training /Hoteling / Transportation in market. Strong communication skills
Demonstrated experience in developing and executing procurement strategies
Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
Knowledge of sourcing processes and tools, such as SAP and e-sourcing platforms
Cross-functional experience in engineering/technology, operations, sales/marketing
