Job Accountabilities:

The Sr. Engineer Process (CBM) is responsible for providing support for process simulation, facility upgradation, and MIS. The role provides technical and analytical support to CBM wells, surface facilities, and gathering stations. This includes monitoring performance, conducting diagnostics, analyzing data to identify bottlenecks, and recommending corrective actions. He/She is also responsible for supporting RCAs, CAPA implementation, and predictive maintenance through KPI tracking and dashboards.

Conduct performance monitoring and diagnostic studies for CBM wells, surface facilities, and gathering stations.

Analyze real-time and historical data to identify production bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions.

Support failure investigations (RCAs) and implement corrective and preventive measures (CAPA).

Develop and update KPIs for equipment reliability, well uptime, and system efficiency.

Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly field performance dashboards and initiate alerts for deviations.

Support O&M with predictive maintenance insights using digital tools.

Collaborate on the implementation of digital twin and AI/ML models for optimizing production and asset health.

Manage and update equipment performance databases, digital logs, and operational records.

Assist in IoT integrations, sensor calibration audits, and remote surveillance programs.

Maintain engineering documentation, P&IDs, operating procedures, and design basis documents.

Ensure compliance with RIL engineering and safety standards, including OISD and statutory norms.

Provide engineering support during shutdowns, new well commissioning, and facility upgrades.

Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Workover, Drilling, and HSE teams for the resolution of field issues.

Liaise with external vendors, consultants, and OEMs for technical problem-solving.

Provide inputs to procurement for technical evaluation and spare part planning.

Skills & Competencies:

Relevant working experience in oil and gas well operations.

Hands-on experience in oil and gas well operations, preferably in a technical services role.

Exposure to process simulation software and equipment design.

Education Required:

BE/B.Tech degree in Chemical or Petroleum Engineering

Experience Required:

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
