About The Role
We are looking for a
technically strong Project Manager with a hands-on understanding of
front-end systems, AWS cloud services, and
modern software delivery practices.
In this role, you will be responsible for
managing end-to-end delivery of complex software projects, working closely with
solution architects, engineers, and product stakeholders. The ideal candidate combines
technical fluency, agile leadership, and
data-driven decision-making to ensure timely, high-quality project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage cross-functional Scrum teams to deliver software projects on time, within scope, and to quality standards.
- Collaborate with solution architects and technical leads to understand design specifications, dependencies, and integration requirements.
- Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication on project progress, risks, and deliverables.
- Drive Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Identify and mitigate risks, manage issues, and proactively remove delivery bottlenecks.
- Leverage data and Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burn-down charts, throughput) to monitor and improve delivery performance.
- Manage dependencies across teams, ensuring alignment with business priorities and timelines.
- Maintain clear documentation of requirements, design decisions, and project updates.
- Oversee deployment readiness, change management, and post-release reviews to ensure smooth delivery cycles.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in project or program management within a technology or software organization.
- Strong technical understanding of front-end architectures (e.g., React, Angular, or similar frameworks).
- Hands-on familiarity with AWS cloud services and deployment processes.
- Proven experience leading Agile/Scrum teams in a delivery-focused environment.
- Ability to read and interpret solution design documents, sequence diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Strong command over Agile delivery metrics and experience managing delivery dashboards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for business stakeholders.
- Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub, or equivalent.
- Highly data-driven mindset, skilled at analysing delivery trends and identifying process improvements.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage priorities across multiple parallel initiatives.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) or Agile methodologies (CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP).
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline management.
- Experience managing distributed or remote teams.
- Familiarity with API-based integration projects or microservices architecture.
- Understanding of UX/UI design processes and collaboration workflows.
- Prior experience in a client-facing or consulting capacity.
