Job Summary:
We are seeking an experiencedSenior Planning Engineerto oversee and manage the planning and scheduling aspects of road construction projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in highway/road projects, proficiency in construction planning software, and proven experience in coordinating with public sector officials and departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, monitor, and update project schedules in line with project timelines and milestones.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and consultants to ensure adherence to schedules.
- Utilize construction planning software (such as Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.) for scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
- Prepare progress reports, delay analyses, and recovery plans as required.
- Identify project risks, potential delays, and propose mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with design, procurement, and execution teams to maintain seamless workflow.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with public sector departments and officials for necessary approvals and project clearances.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety, and quality standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 810 years of experience in planning and scheduling within road/highway construction projects.
- Strong knowledge ofPrimavera P6,MS Project, or similar construction management software.
- Excellent understanding of project management principles, cost control, and resource planning.
- Proven experience in dealing withpublic sector clientsand government agencies.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
