We are looking for an experienced and detail-orientedPayroll Executiveto oversee payroll operations across theEMEA region. This role requires hands-on payroll processing expertise, strong knowledge of country-specific compliance requirements, and the ability to lead and support a team of 2-4 payroll professionals. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage end-to-end payroll processing across multiple countries in the EMEA region.
  • Supervise and support a small payroll team (2-4 members), ensuring accurate and timely execution of responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with third-party payroll vendors to validate payroll inputs and outputs.
  • Review and input payroll-related changes including new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, bonuses, and tax updates.
  • Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping in accordance with company policies and audit requirements.
  • Respond to employee payroll queries and resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with HR and Finance to support month-end close, including payroll reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Maintain and update payroll calendars, tracking country-specific deadlines and holidays.
  • Support audits and internal controls related to payroll processes.
  • Continuously monitor and improve payroll processes to drive efficiency and accuracy.
  • Stay updated on regional payroll legislation and regulatory changes across EMEA countries.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and handle sensitive information with discretion.


Skills & Requirements
  • 4-6 years of hands-on EMEA payroll and accounting experience within a product-based organization

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce or Business Administration (B.Com / M.Com / MBA)

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel with a solid payroll and accounting foundation

  • Experience managing in-house, multi-country EMEA payrolls and statutory compliance

  • Proven ability to supervise and support a small payroll team

  • Strong understanding of payroll audits, controls, and month-end close processes

  • Prior experience with NetSuite or similar ERP/payroll systems preferred
