Job Responsibilities
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Oracle APEX Developer to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle APEX based solutions to support our organization's critical business applications. The Senior Oracle APEX Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design efficient database structures, build complex Oracle APEX applications, write complex SQL queries, optimize performance, and ensure data integrity. This role requires strong technical expertise in Oracle APEX development, Oracle database development, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead design, develop, andmaintainOracleAPEX applicationto meet businessrequirements.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand application requirements and translate them into efficient database designs.
Integrate Oracle APEX applications with other systems and databases as needed.
Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages to implement business logic.Optimizedatabase performance by analyzing query execution plans, indexing strategies, and tuning SQL statements.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers on Oracle APEX development best practices.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices.
Implement Rest webservices to Fetch and push data.
Develop andmaintaintechnical documentation including data models, schema diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
Stayup to datewith the latest Oracle technologies and bestpractices.
Review andvalidatesolution design and ensure it covers all the technicalaspects.
Coordinate with the offshore teams on the development activities andparticipatein solution designdiscussions.
Other Responsibilities:
Perform other work-related duties as assigned. Participates as a member of a high-performanceteam for targeted / strategic initiatives. Attends training or learning opportunities to broaden knowledge.
Work on internal and external demos for various projectPOC's.
Work closely withvarious integration teams like Oracle SOA,Azuredatabricks teametc. for dataintegration.
Work with data analysts to analyze andlocatethe correct data for data modellingpurposes.
Test Applications as needed and work with the test leads to analyze /addressissues.
Overseeing daily technical operations
Coordinating with the software development team in addressing technical debt
Supportapplicationsduring ESTbusinesshourswhen needed.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Years of experiencerequired:6-12years of relevantexperience.
Proven work experience as an Oracle APEX Developer.
Strong knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL and SQL
Experience with Oracle Database design and performance tuning.
Proficiencyin web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and RESTful web services
Strongcommunicationsskillsanabsolute requirement.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Implementing Rest webservices to Fetch and pushdata.
Experience dealing with large data and developing complexAPEX basedapplicationsand have understanding creating data model, DDLandusing Oracle Database19c.
Evaluate andvalidatesolution interfaces, integrationpointsanddependencies.
Liaising with the engineering team for project completion
Reviewing ongoing operations and rectifying any issues
Understanding project requirements and developing detailed structure
Implementing best practices and coding standards
Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
Technologies: Oracle APEX,SQL, PL/SQL,Oracle database,JavaScript, CSS, HTML, JQUERY and AJAX
Preferred Qualifications:
Oracle APEXcertification.
Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
Familiarity with healthcare or clinical research industry.
GxP, Life Science domain knowledge, Clinical Trials.
