Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled OBDX (Oracle Banking Digital Experience) Technical Consultant to support the design, development, and implementation of digital banking solutions.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in customizing and integrating OBDX platforms, with strong technical capabilities in Java-based technologies, API integrations, and digital banking transformations. This role requires expertise in delivering secure, scalable, and seamless customer-facing banking experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement solutions on the Oracle Banking Digital Experience (OBDX) platform
- Customize and enhance OBDX UI/UX components to improve digital customer journeys
- Develop and integrate REST and SOAP APIs with backend banking systems
- Ensure secure API design and implementation, including authentication and authorization mechanisms
- Work on system integrations with core banking and enterprise applications
- Support digital banking transformation initiatives
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in OBDX implementations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Prepare technical documentation and design specifications
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in software development and digital banking solutions
- Proven experience with Oracle Banking Digital Experience (OBDX)
- Strong expertise in Java, J2EE, and related technologies
- Experience with RESTful and SOAP-based services
- Experience in integrating OBDX with core banking systems
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of OBDX architecture and customization
- Expertise in API security (OAuth, JWT, token-based authentication, secure integration practices)
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Banking modules, including:
- OBTFPM (Oracle Banking Trade Finance Process Management)
- OBVAM (Oracle Banking Virtual Account Management)
- Proficiency in UI/UX customization within OBDX frameworks
- Solid understanding of digital banking channels and customer journeys
- Strong API development and integration capabilities
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder management
Preferred Skills
- Experience with microservices architecture and cloud environments
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
- Prior involvement in digital banking transformation programs
