Shift Ahead requires for its client operations a capable L3 Network Engineer – Juniper / Wireless / SD-WAN / Palo Alto / Cloud Networking (immediate joiner)
Role - role will own escalations, complex troubleshooting, design support, and operational stability across enterprise network environments
Key Responsibilities
- Act as L3 escalation support for complex incidents across LAN, WAN, wireless, routing, switching, firewall, and SD-WAN environments.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Juniper routers, switches, and wireless infrastructure, including enterprise Wi-Fi environments.
- Support routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF, along with advanced switching concepts and network segmentation.
- Manage SD-WAN operations, performance, and troubleshooting across branch and enterprise sites.
- Administer and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewall policies, VPNs, security rules, and related network security controls.
- Support cloud networking across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments, including connectivity, routing, and hybrid integrations.
- Analyze logs, capture root causes, and drive permanent resolutions for recurring issues.
- Collaborate with vendors, internal IT teams, and security teams for change execution, upgrades, and incident resolution.
- Maintain documentation, HLD/LLD inputs, network diagrams, and configuration records.

- Strong hands-on experience with Juniper networking platforms.
- Strong knowledge of wireless networking, RF basics, and enterprise Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
- Solid experience in routing and switching, including VLANs, subnetting, OSPF, and BGP.
- Practical SD-WAN experience.
- Hands-on exposure to Palo Alto firewalls and security operations.
- Experience with cloud networking concepts and hybrid connectivity.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Strong hands-on experience with Juniper networking platforms.
- Strong knowledge of wireless networking, RF basics, and enterprise Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
