About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer to join our Information Technology Team within the Information Technology Division at Luxoft. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting and transforming mission-critical, highly visible operational websites and applications across multiple technology stacks. Your responsibilities will encompass all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), working collaboratively with IT, business units, and third-party vendors in a dynamic, fast-paced, 24x7 environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud-based application development, microservices architecture, and modern DevOps practices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects that impact global operations and to work with the latest technologies in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 8 years of professional development experience, demonstrating expertise in high-level managed frameworks such as C#/.NET/.NET Core. Candidates should have a strong understanding of MVC architecture, Entity Framework, and experience creating RESTful and SOAP-based services and APIs. Familiarity with container-based development, NoSQL databases, and cloud platforms, particularly Azure, is essential. Certifications such as MCSE or other Microsoft and Azure certifications are considered a plus. Additionally, experience with microservices architecture, distributed systems, and working within Agile and DevOps environments is highly desirable. The candidate must be adaptable to emerging technologies and possess excellent problem-solving skills to design scalable, asynchronous systems in a cloud environment.
Responsibilities
- Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications and solutions.
- Design and develop microservices and container-based applications to support scalable and resilient systems.
- Build, deploy, and manage applications on Azure cloud services, including Azure Functions, App Services, Event Hub, Service Bus, and Cosmos DB.
- Implement best practices and introduce new technologies to optimize performance, security, and maintainability of applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of services and adherence to architectural standards.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes through automation, testing, and deployment strategies.
- Maintain documentation and provide technical guidance to team members and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into projects.
