Overview : We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Lead to lead and execute strategic hiring initiatives for our Battery Business. This role is focused on ensuring we attract, evaluate, and hire qualified candidates with a special emphasis on workforce planning, employer branding, and a strong candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Workforce Planning
- Partner with operations, production, engineering, quality and HR leadership to understand hiring forecasts, manpower requirements, skill gaps and workforce needs specific to manufacturing functions.
- Anticipate future talent needs and build proactive recruitment plans and talent pipelines to reduce time-to-fill for critical roles.
End-to-End Recruitment
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: job requisition, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Source candidates through a mix of channels job boards, social media, employee referrals, campus hiring, consultancies and local community networks (especially for manufacturing talent pools).
- Collaborate with department heads to create clear, role-specific job descriptions and qualification criteria.
- Measure and report on key hiring metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, cost-per-hire) and use insights to refine recruitment approaches.
- Program manage campus hiring programs, including partnerships with top engineering institutions
Candidate Experience & Employer Branding
Ensure a professional, transparent, and high-touch candidate experience from first contact to
offer acceptance.
Support employer branding initiatives that highlight the companys manufacturing culture,
growth opportunities, safety performance, and employee value proposition.
Compliance & HR Collaboration
Work closely with HR operations and site leadership to support onboarding, orientation, and
retention strategies for manufacturing talent.
Team Leadership
Coach and mentor recruiters and talent acquisition specialists supporting Battery business.
Train hiring managers on best practices for interviewing, assessment, and candidate selection
