Sr. Manager - Supply Chain

Profile in brief:

Sr Manager - Supply Chain is responsible for overseeing inventory management, material planning, and supplier coordination to ensure timely and cost-effective availability of materials. The role ensures smooth supply chain operations through effective MRP execution, process improvements, and compliance with quality and delivery standards.

Qualification/ Yrs. Of experience : Engineering Graduate/15 to 20 Yrs, preferably with mass production environment. (Some experience and knowledge about imports is essential.)

Detailed Job Description:

• Manage end-to-end inventory operations to ensure optimum stock levels and production continuity.
• Execute Material Requirement Planning (MRP) .
• Plan and monitor materials in alignment with production schedules.
• Implement inventory control measures to improve stock accuracy and reduce variances.
• Negotiate and manage supplier agreements and contracts
• Coordinate with suppliers to monitor production capacity and address supply fluctuations.
• Support product development by ensuring material readiness and supplier engagement.
• Drive process improvements and cost optimization initiatives in supply chain operations.
• Prepare and present MIS reports on inventory, supplier performance, and material planning.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and audit standards.
• Lead, guide, and develop the supply chain team to achieve departmental goals.
• Lead demand forecasting, production planning, and SOP processes for supplier.
• Optimize inventory levels to balance availability and carrying costs.
• Reduce obsolescence, stock-outs, and excess inventory.
• Prepare a procurement plan for bought out items with quality approved.
