Job Description:
- Role Overview: Responsible for managing and optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of materials and products.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement supply chain strategies that enhance operational performance, reduce costs, and align with business goals.
- Procurement & Vendor Management: Oversee procurement activities and build strong relationships with vendors and logistics partners to ensure quality and reliability.
- Inventory & Logistics Management: Manage inventory control, logistics, and distribution processes to ensure material availability and on-time delivery.
- Demand Forecasting & Production Planning: Lead forecasting and planning efforts to synchronize supply with production requirements.
- Performance Monitoring: Track key supply chain KPIs and initiate continuous improvement measures to optimize processes.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to company policies, statutory regulations, and safety standards across all SCM functions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, procurement, finance, and other teams to ensure smooth operational coordination.
- Team Leadership: Guide and mentor the SCM team to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
- Technology & Systems: Evaluate and implement new technologies, systems, and tools to enhance supply chain efficiency, including ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
Mandatory Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: B.Tech / BE / MBA in Supply Chain, Operations, or related discipline.
- Experience: 15–18 years of experience in end-to-end supply chain operations, preferably within the manufacturing or automotive sectors.
- Skills: Strong analytical, negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Systems Knowledge: Proficiency in ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or similar tools.
