Job Description

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

Scheduling

  • Interpret production plans and generate procurement schedules for timely availability of parts.

Inventory Monitoring

  • Plan procurement to fulfill production requirements while maintaining inventory norms.

Logistics Management

  • Coordinate logistics to ensure timely delivery of parts against the production plan.

Vendor Management

  • Interact with suppliers to ensure part availability, understanding both manufacturing and commercial processes.

SPD Requirement Management

  • Understand and fulfill SPD (Special Parts Demand) requirements alongside regular production plans.

Cost Reduction Initiatives

  • Identify, introduce, and implement cost reduction ideas for existing and upcoming vehicle models.

Production Target Achievement

  • Ensure monthly and yearly plant production targets are met through proper material availability and planning.

Model Migration

  • Coordinate with quality, production, and APL teams to implement model-specific parts with zero obsolescence.
