Position Summary

The Senior Manager of Sales is responsible for executing ETS's sales strategy across South Asia, focusing on revenue growth, pipeline management, and relationship building with institutions, corporates, and channel partners. This role reports directly to the Regional Lead South Asia and emphasizes tactical planning, hands-on execution, and collaboration with internal teams.

Primary Responsibilites

  • Implement strategic sales plan across South Asia. Focus on lead generation, customer acquisition, contract negotiations, and revenue growth in alignment with defined objectives.
  • Proactively identify potential clients and build strong relationships with key stakeholders across sectors. Communicate the value proposition of ETS assessment solutions and tailor proposals to client needs. Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (legal, operations, marketing, finance) to ensure smooth contract negotiations, implementation, and fulfillment. Support renewals, expansions, and upselling opportunities while maintaining accurate records of contract status and revenue forecasts.
  • Maintain pipeline hygiene and accurate forecasting using Salesforce or similar CRM systems. Ensure timely updates on prospects, leads, and deal progress.
  • Monitor industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities related to assessment services. Use insights to refine sales tactics and differentiate ETS offerings in the market.
  • Track KPIs and progress toward targets. Prepare regular reports for senior management highlighting performance, market insights, and revenue projections.
  • Assist in developing pricing strategies and proposal documentation for institutional and enterprise customers.
  • Represent ETS at conferences, webinars, and regional marketing initiatives to build brand visibility and generate leads.

Knowledge/Skills

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and pursue business opportunities.
  • Results-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools.

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within the education sector, assessment industry, or large-scale consulting solutions.
