- Process Improvement & Optimization
- Analyze production workflows and identify areas for efficiency enhancement.
- Implement lean manufacturing and Kaizen methodologies.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Production Planning & Control
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize resource utilization.
- Design layouts for facilities, equipment, and workstations to maximize productivity.
- Monitor KPIs such as cycle time, throughput, and cost per unit.
- Cost Reduction & Quality Assurance
- Conduct time-motion studies and cost-benefit analyses.
- Recommend process changes to reduce waste and improve quality.
- Ensure compliance with ISO and other industry standards.
- Project Management
- Lead improvement projects from concept to implementation.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and contractors for equipment and material procurement.
- Prepare reports and present findings to senior management.
- Team Leadership
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle).
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and TPM.
