Job Description - Business Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will not only excel at translating business requirements into actionable technical specifications but also lead the execution of projects end-to-end. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills are essential for success in this role.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for the technology team.
  • Work closely with developers, QA, and solution architects to ensure accurate solution design and delivery.
  • Lead project execution, including planning, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
  • Facilitate workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and status meetings with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop use cases, process flows, and business requirement documents (BRDs).
  • Act as a liaison between business teams and IT to resolve issues and align expectations.
  • Monitor project risks, dependencies, and changes, ensuring smooth implementation.
  • Ensure delivered solutions meet business goals and quality standards.
  • Provide post-implementation support, feedback collection, and continuous improvement recommendations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst with involvement in end-to-end project delivery.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC (Agile/Waterfall methodologies).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong project management capabilities - planning, tracking, and delivery.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability.
  • Proficiency in documentation tools (MS Office, Visio, Jira, Confluence, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
