This pivotal role involves overseeing all financial operations, from preparing statements and managing budgets to implementing financial strategies for profitability. The ideal candidate will lead the accounting team, ensure stringent compliance, and provide crucial financial insights to senior management.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting & Planning: Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Compliance & Regulation: Ensure strict compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations.
- Team Management: Manage and mentor the accounting team to ensure efficiency and accuracy in all financial operations.
- Strategic Finance: Develop and implement effective financial strategies to significantly improve profitability.
- Financial Analysis & Insights: Conduct in-depth financial analysis and provide valuable insights and recommendations to senior management for data-driven decision-making.
- Audit Management: Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, ensuring a smooth and successful completion.
- Cash Flow & Investments: Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and investment strategies to optimize financial resources.
- Month-End & Year-End Close: Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes.
- Risk Management: Identify and proactively mitigate financial risks to safeguard the company's assets.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other departments to support overall business objectives and achieve synergistic results.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Inter CA certification is mandatory.
- Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably within the Cafe/Restaurant industry.
- Strong expertise in preparing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead an accounting team.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and strategic financial planning.
- Experience in coordinating and leading audit processes.
- Excellent cash flow management and investment strategy skills.
- Strong understanding of financial risk identification and mitigation.

Qualifications
