Designation – Senior Manager – Corporate Relations Cell
Experience
• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in corporate relations, industry engagement, or institutional partnerships
• Prior experience in higher education, skilling institutions, or large corporates handling partnerships is preferred
• Proven track record in building strategic alliances, industry collaborations, and stakeholder management
Age
• 35 to 50 years
Education
• Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field
• Additional certifications in corporate relations, public relations, or partnership management will be an added advantage
Role Summary
The Senior Manager – Corporate Relations Cell will be responsible for developing and strengthening strategic partnerships between the University and industry. The role focuses on enhancing industry engagement for internships, placements, live projects, research collaborations, and knowledge exchange. The position requires strong networking capabilities, stakeholder management, and alignment of academic initiatives with industry needs to improve student outcomes and institutional reputation.
Roles and Responsibilities
Corporate Engagement & Partnership Development
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporates, industry bodies, and key stakeholders
• Identify and onboard new corporate partners for internships, placements, training, and collaborative initiatives
• Develop long-term engagement strategies to strengthen industry-academia relationships
• Represent the University at industry forums, networking events, and conferences
Placement & Internship Facilitation
• Lead efforts to secure internship and placement opportunities for students across programs
• Coordinate with corporate partners to understand hiring requirements and align student profiles accordingly
• Support campus recruitment drives, job fairs, and hiring events
• Track placement metrics and continuously improve outcomes
Industry Collaboration & Academic Integration
• Facilitate industry participation in curriculum design, guest lectures, workshops, and seminars
• Promote live projects, case studies, and industry-based learning opportunities
• Enable collaborations for research, consultancy, and innovation initiatives
• Work closely with academic teams to align programs with industry expectations
Stakeholder Management & Communication
• Act as a single point of contact for corporate partners and internal departments
• Ensure seamless communication between corporates, faculty, and students
• Maintain strong relationships to ensure repeat engagement and long-term partnerships
Events & Branding Initiatives
• Plan and execute corporate engagement events such as conclaves, summits, and networking sessions
• Enhance the University's brand visibility among corporate stakeholders
• Collaborate with marketing teams for employer branding and outreach initiatives
Reporting & Performance Tracking
• Prepare periodic reports on partnerships, placements, and engagement activities
• Monitor key performance indicators such as placement rates, corporate tie-ups, and student engagement
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership for continuous improvement
