Job Opening Sr. Manager / Asst. Director Corporate Relations (Industry Domain-Specific)

Role Purpose
To independently build, manage, and grow corporate relationships within a defined industry domain, enabling internships, live projects, placements, industry mentoring, and career outcomes for university students, while strengthening the University's industry credibility.
Reporting
Reports to: Head Career Services / Industry Engagement (as applicable)
Role Type: Individual Contributor (No team management)
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Relationship Development (Domain-Specific)
- Identify, approach, and onboard corporate partners within the assigned industry domain.
- Build strong working relationships with CXOs, HR leaders, talent acquisition heads, founders, and functional leaders.
- Position University as a credible, long-term talent and capability partner.
Internships, Live Projects & Placements
- Source and secure internships, live projects, apprenticeships, and full-time roles aligned to academic programs.
- Work closely with corporates to define role descriptions, skill expectations, and hiring timelines.
- Facilitate interviews, assessments, selection processes, and offer closures.
Industry Integration & Student Readiness
- Enable guest lectures, industry workshops, masterclasses, site visits, and mentorships from corporate partners.
- Provide domain insights to help align student skill development, portfolios, and career readiness.
- Collaborate with academic teams to ensure industry relevance of curriculum and outcomes (without academic ownership).
Relationship Management & Account Growth
- Act as the single point of contact for assigned corporate accounts.
- Ensure partner satisfaction, repeat engagement, and account expansion across internships, hiring, and projects.
- Convert transactional hiring relationships into strategic, multi-touch partnerships.
Data, Reporting & Outcome Tracking
- Track corporate engagement, opportunities, student participation, and placements in career services / CRM systems.
- Maintain accurate records of offers, CTCs, roles, domains, and hiring trends.
- Share industry intelligence and market insights with internal stakeholders.
Desired Profile
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred)
- 510 years of experience in corporate relations, talent acquisition, HR, industry partnerships, or business development within a specific industry domain.
- Strong existing corporate network in the assigned domain is highly preferred.
- Proven success in an individual contributor, outcome-driven role.

- Strong understanding of industry roles, hiring practices, and skill requirements.
- High level of ownership, professionalism, and accountability.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally.
