About The Role

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Sr. M365 Engineer to join our Global Infrastructure team. You will be part of the Digital Workplace team in our Center of Excellence in Vadodara. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, supporting, and optimizing Microsoft 365 services . You will play a key part in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our M365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive, and will work closely with internal teams and external partners.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead the Microsoft 365 topics from Accelleron side in coordination with an external consulting company
  • Full responsibility for/administration of future company's Microsoft 365 tenant operations with focus on Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive
  • Installation, management, and optimization of M365 services and related solutions.
  • Developing and maintaining the architectural/platform roadmaps and related services.
  • Architectural guidance for Microsoft 365 solutions and ensure that architectural and operational guidelines are followed in projects
  • Ensuring professional application management and coaching SharePoint/Microsoft 365 developers (internal and external)
  • Delivering solutions/services according to agreed-upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs): on time, within budget and at high quality
  • Participate in change management, and patching/upgrades of M365 services.
  • Assist with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Power Automate) to improve M365 operations and user experience.
  • Support governance and compliance initiatives by helping to enforce DLP, retention, and audit policies.
  • Support the rollout and configuration of M365 tools and features, including security settings, compliance configurations, and collaboration capabilities.
  • Monitor service health, usage, and performance; troubleshoot and resolve incidents and problems.

Your background

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
  • Multiple years of demonstrated experience in Microsoft 365 Design and Administration.
  • 5+ years in a technical position using M365 Services and Cloud technologies.
  • Must have good technical and conceptional experience with MS Teams services including enterprise telephony, Teams Live Events, and Teams Webinars or extensive experience with Skype for business.
  • Must have good technical and conceptional experience with MS Exchange Online service
  • Must have good technical and conceptional know-how and hands-on experience with SharePoint architecture and operations.
  • Must have good knowledge of user authentication/Single Sign-On technology based on Microsoft AD and Azure AD technologies
  • Must have know-how about information security featured in M365 (firewalls, connectivity to different environments/tenants, data loss prevention policies, on-perm gateways).
  • Conceptional know-how and hands-on experience with Power Platform and Power BI from admin side are welcome
