About The Role

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Sr. Legal Manager to manage end-to-end legal and compliance matters for the organisation. The role requires strong expertise in contract management, legal advisory, compliance vetting, stakeholder coordination, and independent handling of legal matters. The ideal candidate should possess excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, vet, and negotiate contracts/agreements while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Draft and standardise contract templates and review agreements related to company business operations.
  • Independently handle legal queries and provide legal and compliance vetting of documents and agreements.
  • Liaise and coordinate with external clients, consultants, and stakeholders on agreements and contractual matters.
  • Draft replies to legal notices, government communications, and other legal correspondence.
  • Provide legal opinions, strategic advice, and practical solutions on various legal matters.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders across departments for legal documentation and compliance support.
  • Identify legal risks and implement effective risk management techniques.
  • Conduct legal research, analysis, and interpretation of relevant laws, regulations, and legal information.
  • Support and manage legal matters independently with minimal supervision.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Qualified Law Graduate - LLB / BA LLB / BBA LLB or equivalent.
  • 7-14 years of relevant corporate legal experience.
  • Strong command over English language from both legal drafting and colloquial communication perspectives.
  • Excellent contract drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Strong understanding of corporate laws, legal compliance, and risk mitigation.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple legal assignments and stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and coordination abilities.
