Job Summary:
The Graphic Designer and Video Editor will work closely with our marketing team to produce high-quality, visually engaging content for a variety of platforms. This position requires strong creative design and video editing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders. The Graphic Designer and Video Editor will be responsible for creating book covers, promotional materials for books, developing book trailers and other video content, and managing our social media channels.
Responsibilities:
Creating book cover design, brand specific collaterals
Collaborate with marketing team and authors to develop design and video content that effectively promotes our books and authors
Design promotional materials for books, including ads, flyers, and other marketing collateral
Create video content, including book trailers, author interviews, and promotional videos
Manage social media channels and create engaging content to promote our books and authors
Collaborate with authors and other stakeholders to ensure all content is accurate and aligned with the brand
Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of AI such as GPT, Canva AI, Perplexity, Gemini etc
Strong design and video editing skills, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and video editing software
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders, including authors, marketing team members, and publishers
Familiarity with publishing industry and trends
