Job Title: Senior GIS Executive

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior GIS Executive with a strong background in geospatial data analysis, satellite image processing, and GIS technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with GIS tools and remote sensing data, along with the ability to analyze and interpret geospatial information effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform satellite image analysis (Optical & Microwave data).
• Work on GIS data creation, analysis, and management, including DEM generation.
• Conduct geo-referencing and satellite image processing.
• Utilize GIS and remote sensing tools for spatial data analysis.
• Work with cloud infrastructure related to data storage and computation.
• Analyze and correlate satellite and biophysical data.
• Interpret satellite and ground weather data for analysis.
• Support project execution involving geospatial and remote sensing tasks.

Required Skills & Tools

• Hands-on experience with:
• ERDAS Imagine
• ArcGIS
• ENVI
• SNAP
• Google Earth Engine
• Strong understanding of:
• GIS concepts and spatial analysis
• Remote sensing techniques
• Microwave satellite data processing
• Cloud-based data infrastructure

Eligibility Criteria

Education

• Postgraduate degree in GIS or related field
• OR
• BE/B.Tech in Computer Science / Electronics / IT
• OR
• MCA

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in:
• GIS-related work
• Image analysis and remote sensing

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience handling large geospatial datasets
• Ability to understand data interdependencies and correlations
• Good communication and teamwork skills
