We need someone who can bring clarity and discipline to finance across the company.This includes fundraising readiness, reporting, compliance, cash flow, and financial planning. It also means helping founders and business leaders make better decisions with clear numbers and strong financial judgment.This is not just a finance operations role. It is a core role in how the company runs.

The Mandate

You will be responsible for three things:

1 Keeping the company financially organized and ready for fundraising, diligence, audits, and major business decisions.

2 Running finance operations with strong control across accounting, compliance, payroll,reporting, cash flow, and banking.

3 Helping leadership make better decisions by bringing clear financial thinking to planning,trade-offs, and growth.

What You Will Be Doing

Fundraising and strategic finance

• Support fundraising, due diligence, and investor coordination
• Build and maintain financial models
• Prepare data rooms and financial materials
• Work with founders on financial planning and strategic decisions

Treasury and cashflow

• Manage cash flow planning and forecasting
• Maintain visibility on runway and obligations
• Handle banking relationships and treasury operations

Accounting, compliance, and payroll

• Oversee accounting, tax, compliance, and payroll
• Ensure timely closes and clean financial records
• Lead audits and manage external finance partners

Reporting and controls

• Build and improve MIS and reporting systems
• Create monthly and quarterly reporting for leadership
• Strengthen financial controls and processes

Business partnering

• Work with teams across Media, Education and AI
• Support decisions on budgets, margins, costs, and planning
• Translate financial data into clear business insight

What This Role

• Requires510 years of experience in finance
• Strong experience in reporting, compliance, and finance operations
• Experience with fundraising, diligence, or strategic finance
• Ability to work across multiple business lines or entities
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• Ability to explain numbers clearly to non-finance stakeholders
• Comfort working directly with founders in a fast-moving environment
