The position is responsible for ensuring accuracy, compliances, operational and financial controls to the company s finance and accounting department.
Key Result Areas (Key Performance Indicators)
- Responsible for developing and strengthening Internal Controls in line with Kohler Co. requirements.
- Responsible for keeping the financial records in accordance with India GAAP, U.S. GAAP, tax, legal and Kohler Co. requirements
- Manage Control all financial activities of the company including timely completion of Statutory Audit Tax Audit. Including interaction with Auditors / other stake holders and timely Physical verification of Inventory Fixed Assets.
- Ensure all books of accounts are properly maintained prepare Balance sheet/ PL Account fulfill all Statutory Compliances.
- Responsible for the financial information reporting for the business. This reporting is to be in accordance with Kohler reporting formats and design attributes. The financial information is to be made available to the business, KB Asia, KB Group, and Kohler Co. management on a timely basis. Responsible for maintaining consistent presentation of information and comparative data. Responsible for bridging comparative results when changes occur in the reporting.
- Responsible for overall Business MIS apart from financial information.
- Strategic support for business development and other commercial legal functions.
- Monthly review with Plant Finance team on Plant performance, manufacturing variances review all Balance Sheet schedules with the Finance team.
- Manage month end book closings
- Actively manage control over Inventory and Assets
- Manage monthly compliances for Indirect Taxes
Educational Background and Work Experience
- Chartered Accountant with at least 10-14 years of related experience in multinational environment. Experience of BIG4, GT firms will be an added advantage.
- Experience to assist in strengthening Financial Controls.
- Experience in finalization of Financial Statements under US-GAAP and Ind-GAAP and liaison with the Statutory Auditors to address Audit issues.
- Possess strong financial control and reporting skills.
- Ensuring all the statutory obligations / compliance for the Company
- Well versed with modern accounting systems procedures.
- Significant hands-on experience in SAP.
