Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and experienced
Maintenance Engineer / Supervisor to oversee all aspects of plant and facility maintenance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal equipment performance, facility operations, compliance with maintaining accurate documentation. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to manage preventive and breakdown maintenance effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Plant Maintenance
- Carry out machine maintenance including preventive, predictive, daily, and breakdown maintenance.( VMC machine, CNC Laser, CNC Router, Lathe machine)
- Monitor machine performance and conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of breakdowns.
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical spares.
- Ensure proper installation and commissioning of new machinery and systems.
- Provide training and handover to machine operators and technicians post-installation or repair.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities for historical data and analysis.
- Facility Management
Ensure Smooth And Uninterrupted Operations Of All Facility Systems
- Electricity Board interface & power systems
- Diesel generators and backup power solutions
- UPS systems and power quality monitoring
- Air compressors & BMS(Building management System)
- AHU (Air Handling Unit) maintenance & HVAC
- STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) operation monitoring
- Compliance Requirements
- Coordinate statutory testing and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Review and maintain water quality testing reports.
- Oversee air quality and noise level monitoring.
- Maintain list of all calibration equipment and ensure regular calibration.
- Supervise gauge calibration and earth pit test reporting.
- Documentation & Reporting
Maintain Comprehensive And Up-to-date Documentation Including
- Job Hazard (JH) check sheets
- Preventive Maintenance (PM) check sheets
- Monthly Maintenance Reports (MRM)
- Daily Work/Dispatch Monitoring (DWM)
- Machine lists and history cards
- Breakdown registers
- Spare parts matrix
- Electrical load details
- Reports on electricity and water consumption
- Trial / test reports
- AMC contract documentation
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in industrial plant maintenance.
- Strong understanding of equipment maintenance, breakdown analysis, and preventive systems.
- Familiarity with facility systems such as UPS, DG, compressors, AHU, STP.
- Good knowledge of statutory compliance testing and calibration protocols.
- Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
