Sr. Executive/Assistant manager - F&A

Job Purpose:

The role exists to manage and oversee the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

MAJOR ACTIVITIES

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices.
• Verify and reconcile invoices with purchase orders and contracts.
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
• Monitor and manage payment schedules to ensure timely payments.
• Handle vendor inquiries and ensure prompt resolution of issues.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Reconcile Bank Statement with Books balance on a regular basis.
• Perform monthly closing activities and prepare reports.
• Ensure reimbursement to employee claims as per Policy of the Company.
• Ensure the claim reimbursement as per payment cycle.
• Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Skills :

Primary:

Strong understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, Microsoft Dynamics and Excel.

Educational Qualification

Desired : Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 5+ years of work experience. CA Inter Preferred.

Relevant Experience

Must Have: Experience in accounts payable or a similar role with exposure to domestic and International transaction processing.
